Join the Lambeth TRA Network for another free 3-hour workshop: “How to build your own website”.
Saturday 17th June, 2-5pm at Edmundsbury Community Hall, 171 Ferndale Road, Brixton, London SW9 8FQ
If you have no experience of how to go about having your own website, or if you have a website, or WordPress site and want to be more confident at editing or using it – this course will be perfect for you.
We’ll be showing you how to set up a domain and website from scratch using low cost or free hosting and the free versatile platform WordPress – which enables you to set up a professional website or a community based website where you may allow others to interact with you. Great for engaging people!
Even if you don’t intend to set up your own website, but want to interact more with this website, the Lambeth Network website or other WordPress sites – we’ll show you how to add pages, posts, photos, articles events etc.
The course is run by professional web designers from Vibrand.co.uk who designed and build websites such as www.nationaltrust.je and www.healthwatchlambeth.org.uk
Bring your own charged laptop or tablet – and a notebook and pen. If you don’t have a laptop or tablet – you’ll be able to get a lot out of the course if you make notes.
This course is primarily designed for Tenants & Residents Associations – but we welcome everyone, and you may wish to come along to learn how to set up your own private or commercial website.
