Come and join us to plant the hanging baskets on our estate on Sunday 20 May 2018 in the square between 10am-2pm

Food Growing Club
If you would like to do some gardening with fellow neighbours we have arranged sessions on times and dates to be announced.
You can have your own plot in our raised beds, or help plant shared crops. Learn how to plant seeds, prepare seed trays, propagate from cuttings, how to prepare soil, pest control, nutrients & composting and harvesting crops – all the tips you need for growing and cooking your own fresh local organic vegetables and fruit.
Come out and help make our garden bountiful and beautiful – filled with strawberries, tomatoes, cucumbers, herbs, marrows, beans, cabbage, cauliflower, radishes, garlic, horse radish, onions, potatoes, rhubarb, blueberry, gooseberry and recurrent, and everything you love to eat.
If you can’t make our Tuesday evening community gardening sessions, help yourself to a free section of one of the beds to grow what you like, when you like!
We’re planning on buying some polycarbonate greenhouses to replace the disintegrated polythene ones behind the community hall. We’ll need some help to erect them, to tidy up the back garden behind the hall and to move the hall shed back against the wall to give us some more room. Please help – we’ll let you know the date and time.
